a WELCOME!   b

If you are a first time visitor, we invite you   to pick up a complimentary cookie jar from          the cupboard in the narthex as you                  leave—our gift to you for worshiping with us                this morning.  A nursery and activity bags              are available for your children.  Please join            us following service for coffee fellowship.

V If you have a prayer concern or          request, please call the church office and        then Lois Hassett at 389-3173 to initiate the          prayer chain.

F Just a reminder:  There will be no           Sunday school classes on December 28th       or January 4th.  There will be no                  Wednesday meal or classes on December        24th or 31st.  Thank you!

6 The deadline for the January      Newsletter is Tuesday, December 23rd.    Please have all submissions to the office at              that time.  Newsletters will be in mail boxes   on January 4th.  Thanks!

& As Christmas approaches, we are in the process of preparing for our Christmas Eve Services.  If you would like to provide special music for the 5:00 pm service, please contact the church office.  We are also in need of 7 readers for the 9:00 pm service.  There is a sign up sheet available in the narthex.  If you are interested, please sign up today.  Thank you!

C Small Group Opportunity:  Some have expressed interest in establishing a home cell small group.  The advantages are it meets in participants homes, participants hone study to meet the groups needs, and the day, time, and frequency of the group are determined by the participants.  Please let Lee know if you are interested.

Ø As many are aware, the demand for Our Daily Bread has increased ~ wonderful!  We are in the process of securing more copies in the future.  Until that time, if you have access to the internet, the daily devotionals are available on www.rbc.org.  You can also request to have them emailed to you daily.

ä Wednesday evening meals are a BIG job, and even BIGGER ministry; and we are so grateful to those who volunteered and cooked the meals in the past.  We are again in need of people to prepare the Wednesday night meals this coming year.  Each week approximately $100.00 is available to purchase the groceries needed for the meal.  This is one of the most vital local outreaches of our church!  If you are willing to serve in this area, please use the sign up sheet in the narthex.

V A basket has been placed in the narthex for a love offering for Pastor’s Lee and Laurie.

A Holiday Potluck Luncheon will be held on January 8th at 12:00 p.m. at the Barnum Senior Center.  Beverages and utensils will be furnished.  All seniors welcome!  Please bring a donation of a non-perishable food item for the Moose Lake Food Shelf.
